This puppy has multiple breaks in his front leg and will need an immediate operation and screws to fix it. Mona was picked up over three weeks ago. While operating, the vet discovered it is not only prolapse but her bladder was out, she has tumors on her ovaries, and her kidneys were in very rough shape with one barely functioning. It was a very difficult operation that took time and effort from our dedicated Dr. Kirolos but she is in good hands. She’s currently at ESMA on a renal diet. Per Dr. Kirolos, she has more than 25 Pellets in her body. Some of them are fully embedded in her lungs and the rest all over her chest and body. The pellets cannot be removed so we will work on healing the injuries and any infection. It is a long and expensive process but we will do all that we can for her. This dog was run over by a train and lost its back legs, The dog is under treatment and amputation will need to be done but not until we finish the treatment for a respiratory problem.
