We have beautiful Egyptian cats and dogs of all sizes, ages, and colors at our shelter, all of whom deserve a loving and responsible family.  Our goal is to find \u201cforever homes\u201d for each of our beloved animals. If you have room in your heart and your home to give a new life to a special cat or dog, and are able to commit to their care, please let us know.<\/p>\n

Since adoption is a commitment for the lifetime of your pet, we will ask you to take the time to fill out our APPLICATION FORM followed by the ADOPTION CONTRACT (both pdf-files on the top of this page).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Once this is returned to us an ESMA representative will contact you by phone or email for a follow-up interview, and after the adoption is approved you will be asked to sign our adoption contract. To receive an adoption questionnaire in Arabic, please contact info@esmaegypt.org<\/a><\/p>\n

For international adoptions we prefer to work through a shelter in the country of adoption to make sure that our animals will have a safe place in the event of a failed adoption. International adoptions to individuals are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We know each country has his own pet overpopulation problem and if you do not agree with bringing dogs or cats into your country, you still can help by SPONSORING an animal or even a worker from ESMA. Thereby you help not only our animals, but also human beings.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If you cannot adopt but will be visiting Egypt or traveling abroad from Egypt, please consider becoming a flight parent for an adopted animal.  For more information about flight parenting, see our How to Help page.<\/p>\n

All animals are sterilized before becoming available for adoption.  ESMA does not adopt or sell animals to anyone seeking a cat or dog for breeding or other commercial purposes.<\/strong><\/p>\n
