Help ESMA dog Milo get to his forever home

Thursday, August 16th, 2018

This is big love bug is Milo! He was rescued as a puppy in Cairo in poor condition but has since thrived at the ESMA Dog Shelter. Despite a rough start to life, Milo is one very smiley and happy boy.

After a long time of waiting, he has finally found his forever home and has a mom waiting for him in New Hampshire!

The good folks at ESMA even have a flight parent ready to take him from Cairo the US with them so he can get to his mom. The last step is raising enough money for his ticket.

Help us get Milo home!

Friday, April 27th, 2018

The Animal Diplomacy site is the easiest and most efficient way to be a monthly donor to ESMA. They’ve been a partner of ESMA for years and the site is now functioning properly again. There’s a box to check for ‘recurring donation’ to make it simple for you. Thank you so much.

Thank you to everyone for supporting Woyzek and ESMA

Sunday, April 1st, 2018

We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone that has followed our boy Woyzek on Facebook. This has become the most shared post in ESMA’s history and we’ve had a lot of people come forward to help. We can’t do this without your continued support. Thank you so much.

ORIGINAL POST ON FACEBOOK: The saddest face in the whole ESMA shelter today! This is Woyzek. He had his left front leg amputated, and the other one looks also pretty bad. He was burrying his face in my arms and just wanted to be held. I don’t know his story, yet, but it must be horrible. Maybe, someone would like to sponsor this sad, suffering boy.

New case from Alexandria

Thursday, February 1st, 2018

New case arrived at ESMA last night from Alexandria. A horrible double broken jaw. Semi conscious, PREGNANT and very critical condition. No operation can be done now, she cannot eat so we have her on antibiotics, fluids, and feeding her very soft minced food slowly every few hours. She needs your prayers and, of course, she will need a sponsor.

If you’re interested in being her monthly sponsor, please send PayPal of LE600 (£35, $35, €35) at the first of each month to [email protected]

Thank you.
